Final Tears For Nkemakonamu

As she laid in that claustrophobic casket
Lifeless and ready for that new life beyond beauty
I caught a glimpse of my dear dad
Crying for the first time in my luscious life
Like a baby whose mum’s breast was rudely taken away from his minute mouth
Trying to grab the casket wherein laid my sweet sister
But was held back by some energetic elders
And he grabbed me instead squeezing me with his tight engulfing embrace
With tears flowing down our cheeks like a riotous river.
